I love these pastries. Mr Mélanger loves them – and I still haven’t perfected them to his Finnish standards! I think you’re right though, they are begging for experimentation. I won’t tell him that, either!

your Karjalanpiirakka looks absolutely amazing! nam!

one tip: you should put your oven tray beforehand in the oven so its already hot. that way your Karjalanpiirakkadough will be more crispy. atleast I like when cover is quite crispy and porige inside creamy…

by the way…tervetuola is correctly speld tervetuloa. It´s no big deal, but I would like to know this if I would have written it
